Registered Mail service offered by Canada Post is entitled to proof of delivery. Recipients need to sign their names once the packages are delivered. Except Additional Liability Coverage option, the Prepaid Registered Mail has all features as the domestic register mail.
There is one thing we need to note is that Priority™, Xpresspost™, Expedited Parcel™ and Regular Parcel™ cannot be combined with Registered Mail.
Specifications of Registered Mail Size and Weight
Registered Mail can be further divided into two kinds: Standard and Other. For Standard Register Mail, the size can be minimum 140 mm*90 mm*0.18 mm to maximum 245 mm*156 mm*5 mm (length*width*height); while for other Register Mail, the size can be minimum 140 mm*90 mm*0.18 mm to maximum 380 mm*270 mm*20 mm. And the weight can be ranged from 2g-50g to 5g-500g.
Domestic Canada Post Registered Mail Delivery Times
Delivery times here are the estimated delivery times. It is a reference provided by Canada Post to its customers about the info how long the package usually take until it is delivered. It is counted from the next day since the package been shipped. The delivery times here are not guarantee. You cannot file a claim against the Canada Post if your package has been delayed.

Non-major Urban Centres: 2-4 days
Northern Regions and Remote Centres: 2-8 days
